"The vision of OJC is to give folks opportunities to hear one another, to see one another in a better light. I don't know that we have invested in the power of connection the way that we could or should. Friendship might do more to achieve peace than protest or policy work. Obviously, we still have to do good policy work, and someday we might need to protest. But we have not yet fully explored the power of connection."
